K's Wardrobe Consultation
I recently had the chance to help a friend go through her closet and come up with some new uses for her items.
Here are some outfits similar to the ones we picked out for her...
Belting a flowy navy dotted blouse with a skinny brown belt gives it a better shape. Pairing it with a cream (maybe even lacy) skirt lightens it up. Finish it off with some gold bangles.
This is a fun way to mix some prints.
The brown belt and colored bracelets gives an ordinary black and white outfit some flair.
Pink and chartreuse are a fun color combination, and cognac pumps and silver bracelets go with everything.
A fun look for going out in the summer time.
Seersucker is great for work in the summer. Mix in some floral and ruffles with it, then keep it simple with nude pumps.

Wardrobe Consultations
Are you tired of looking at your closet full of clothes and not finding anything to wear? Let me help you with a wardrobe consultation. I will come over and help you "shop your closet." We will come up with new outfits using items you already have, make a list of items that would be good additions to your wardrobe, and possibly toss a few things that you don't need.
After the consultation, I will send you pictures of the outfits we created and links to items that you may want to purchase from the web.
If you are interested in a consultation, send me an email (kelly bourland at yahoo dot com) and we can discuss the details.

Turquoise complements everything!
If you are looking for a pop of color to add to your wardrobe, whether a statement necklace, bracelet, skinny belt or scarf, and you can't decide on what color you should invest in, may I make a suggestion... TURQUOISE! It goes with almost every single color... amazing!
Krafty Kelly - Striped knit skirt
I made this cute striped skirt inspired by this tutorial. It is VERY unfinished at the hem, but I like it like that. I have received lots of complements on it, and I love telling people that I made it. I picked up the knit fabric at Hancocks for like $2.99.

Gladiator Flats
Looking for a great alternative to boring flip flops? Try a gladiator flat! I scored a pair of these at Ross earlier this year for 14.99, and I have been shocked at how much I have worn them. They go with so many different outfits and are SUPER comfortable!
New "Neutrals"
Sometimes black, brown, white and khaki start to get a little boring. Mix it up by trying stripes or animal print as a neutral...
