Anoraks

I have always thought that anorak is a very strange word.  According to the always accurate Wikipedia: "Strictly speaking, an anorak is a waterproof jacket with a hood and drawstrings at the waist and cuffs."

I personally think of them as a great addition to your spring and fall wardrobe.  It is so great to grab a jacket that you love when it is raining outside.  A fun color might also brighten your mood on a dreary day.  I got an army green military-ish anorak last spring.  I have loved it and been shocked how much I have worn it.  With 2 small kiddos, I have decided that an umbrella is just too much trouble, so a hood is a must for me.
Here are some links to some cute ones, the Target one comes in a plethora of fun colors and patterns. I have also seen some GREAT ones at TJ Maxx and Marshalls recently.

Let me know if you find any cute ones...

Mine looks a little like this, but it is more army green.  I got mine at JC Penney.

Go Big Orange!

The Vol fan in me is so excited that orange (or tangerine as some are calling it) is one of the BIG colors for spring and summer.
Here are some orange pieces that won't break the bank...

Here is me in an old navy necklace, and some orange New York and Co cropped jeans.  Cambray shirt is from TJ Maxx.
