White out!

Blake and I were asked to wear all white to a party this weekend. I didn't have too much trouble coming up with a white lace blouse and white jeans, but Blake outfit was not quite so easy. I ended up scoring these great linen banana republic pants at the thrift store for 7 bucks! The party was a blast.

Style Diary: Cobalt with stripes

I found this fun flowy top at TJ Maxx and I think it is going to be super-versatile. I wore it to church this Sunday with my striped skirt, but I also think it is going to look great with some shorts or some white jeans. I love the cobalt with the stripes, but I what I loved even more was the way it looked with the neon green color I happened to have painted my finger and toe nails the night before.

Chevron!

I LOVE chevron stripes! They are so fun and bold. I found this great dress at JC Penney and it is so comfortable! I couldn't find a link to it on the JCP website, but here is a link to a similar top.

BBQ Fest

We headed down to BBQ Fest last week. Comfy shoes were a necessity so I went with my gladiator flat sandals. I love this tribal print tube top I found at an outlet mall in Florida.

Style Diary: Bumble Bee

I love yellow and black together, but I never want to look too much like a bumble bee, so I try to avoid stripes and add white where I can.  I wore this to Mothers Day dinner the other night.

Mothers Day

For Mother's Day this year I broke out my fishtail hem skirt. The last time I wore it, it was winter and I paired it with boots and a long sleeved shirt, but I think I like it even better with a plain white tank and statement necklace. By the way. I love this tank.   I ordered it from Athleta and it has a great built in shelf-bra so you don't have to worry about your bra sticking out.
