Day 14: Purses

Some women love shoes, and while I do love shoes, purses are my thing.  I love a good purse.  Since I have become a mom, I have become a big fan of purses with outside pockets.  Easy access to keys, cell phone, and lots of places for kiddos to stash snacks and sippy cups.  If you can find a good purse, there is no need for a diaper bag.  Here are some fun options for the fall...

Day 13: Hair Tutorials

I am a hair girl!  I love big hair and I love playing with my hair.  I have received a few questions recently about my hair, so I thought that I would share with you all 3 of my favorite hair tutorials from around the web...

1.  Great curling iron tutorial
When I use this method, these curls can last several days.

2.  Great bang styling tutorial
I have a love/hate relationship with my bangs, but this has helped it be more love than hate.

3.  Great no-heat curling method
This is amazing!  Gives a real natural look.

4.  This is not a tutorial, but a product I love when you want straight hair
Frizz-Ease 3-Day Straight Semi-Permanent Styling Spray
John Frieda 3- day straight.  This stuff works GREAT, save your money on a brazilian blowout and get this.

Seen any great hair tutorials anywhere?  Let me know if you try any of these.

Day 12: Adding Animal (and If I worked Wednesday)

I know that some people are a bit afraid of animal prints.  I personally love them and think of them almost as neutrals.  Here are some easy ways to incorporate a little or a lot of animal.

I got these leopard shoes at a garage sale and I fee like they go with almost anything.  Love the leopard with purple!
Mixing leopard with dots is stripes is super fun!
This one is a little crazy.  Zebra top, snakeskin belt, leopard shoes.
And a great way to mix in leopard to your work look.  A small ,leopard belt, and nude colored snakeskin shoes.

What is your favorite way to mix in animal prints?

Day 11: Shopping Online

Online shopping can be so fun.  You can put lots of stuff in “your cart” and then take all the time you want to think about it before actually spending your money.  I look much more than I buy, but here are some of the online stores that I have had good experiences with…

Lulus.com:  This is a great store for affordable little dresses and trendy tops and shoes.  I have only ordered from them once, but I was very pleased with the dress I received.

Forever21:  If you go to a Forever 21 store, you may be a bit overwhelmed by the experience.  It is almost always crowded with people, and it is packed with clothes to the point it is hard to see what they have.  I much prefer their online site.  Forever 21 is great for basics like layering tees and tanks as well as the occasional trendy item.

MJR sales:  I just recently found this site.  MJR has lots of things from Victorias Secret.  Each item is listed individually by size, so it may take a bit of searching, but you can get some great stuff for great prices.  And they ship super fast!

Gap/Old Navy/ Banana Republic:  If you have a Gap card you can usually get free shipping.  You can return what you don’t want to the store, so no return shipping woes.  When I was pregnant, I shopped from the maternity section a lot because the selection in my stores was limited.  You can still find better bargains on clearance items in store, so keep that in mind.

Smart Bargains:  Great source for affordable designer denim

Ebay:  LOVE to shop on Ebay!  Post coming about this soon!

Let me know your favorite online shopping sites!
